Nagpur Attractions In the entire world, Nagpur is responsible for being a major production as well as trade center of excellent, high-quality oranges. Going back to olden days, this prosperous city of Nagpur was the capital
of the Bhosle rulers in the central India. The legacy of the prince rule still remains obvious in the tourist attractions in Nagpur. The city has presented a fine combination of the old traditions and the contemporary developments. Also, it serves as the base for the nature lovers, looking to visit the numerous wildlife sanctuaries and natural parks situated in and around the Nagpur district. The strategic location of the city, almost in the heart of the India, further adds to its importance.

Raman Science Center, located opposite to Gandhi Sagar, is the best place for school children. This centre is known for its various good working models that demonstrate the physical phenomena in an interesting manner.

Maharajbagh, is one of the oldest attractions of Nagpur. Even though there are relatively few animals here, but still this place is considered well for a day's outing, as it is green and pleasant.

Sitabuldi Fort, is the historic fort, located at the hilltop right in the center of the city. This master piece was built in 1857 by a British officer. At present, it is the office of the Territorial Army, and is open to the public on National holidays. 

Ambazari Lake, spread over 15.4 sqkms on the western outskirts of the city is surrounded by a picturesque garden. Those interested in outdoor activity, can enjoy boating and walking tracks. The musical fountain adds a romantic flavor to this beautiful spot.
